It's FLASH BACK FRIDAY!! Today we'll dig up an old post from our blog's archives to share with you again! Today it's our  Sacred Bird and Butterfly - "Trick-or-Treat!?" post from October, 2010.

Did you know that America is not the only place that celebrates Halloween? Here are some of the other common phrases used in a few other countries that also celebrate!

"Trick-or-Treat?!" - North America
"Help the Halloween Party?!" - Ireland

"Halloween Apples?" - Parts of Canada
"Halloween!" or "La charité s'il-vous-plaît ("Charity, please?") - French speaking areas of Canada
¿me da mi calaverita? ("Can you give me my little skull?") - Mexico

If you know kids are coming to your door, more than likely you've found a bowl, cauldron, or basket to house those sweet little goodies the toothless tooth-fairies choose over "tricks". Here's a gorgeous way to answer the door. Instead of using a bowl - grab an unused cachepot.

Cachepots (Pronounced Kash-poe or Kash-pot) is defined as an ornamental container designed to hold and conceal a flowerpot. However, it's my personal belief that no piece of porcelain need only be used for it's originally intended purpose. Use it for potted plants or pile it up with candy and hold it while tiny fingers pick and choose their "treat". The less treats there are in the bowl, the less inclined they'll be to hand and fist those goodies into their bags.

22k gold and rich oranges make this pattern perfect for the fall season. After Halloween use the cachepot for a floral arrangement on your Thanksgiving dinner table!

Or for a more Halloween themed cachepot option, how about one of our Tony Duquette black and gold ones! TD410
