For the plant lover in your family, why not splurge on this beautiful planter and a bag of bulbs(or a small $20 Christmas tree). The Blue and Gold Monteith Planter measures nearly 15" in diameter and 10.5" in height and is adapted from a Chinese porcelain monteith, circa 1720. It sure beats the ugly black plastic that so many plants come in this time of year, and can be replanted depending on the season. It's a beautiful addition to an entrance way, or any space that needs to be filled with beauty.

Because this planter does not have a hole for drainage, we suggest lining the bottom with rocks so that plants don't drown.

We were able to pack 10 Paper White Ziva Bulbs (for $10) in here. We could have probably packed a few more. These plants are meant to be planted indoors and can actually grow without soil! They like light and grow nice and tall.

Then we waited, and waited, and waited, until "HEY!! THEY'RE GROWING!!" and then we thought, "Shoot... maybe we should have planted them deeper?"

When these flowers bloom they are fregrant and make you feel like spring is just around the corner, when in actuality it hasn't even snowed yet! They will grow tall and eventually want to fall over, so you can place a metal support around them, or simply tie them with ribbon that matches your decor.

The gift that keeps on giving!
