Cachepots are a beautiful gift for any time of the year, but especially at this time when the season is growing colder and flowers are only found indoors. There are a lot of different ways to use a cachepot; plant tulips to grow during the winter months, fill it with fruit, or use it to hide a glass vase of fresh flowers every other week. However you choose to present it, it makes a stunning focal point in anyone's home, and brings the charm of life indoors while everything outside dies.

This blue and white porcelain cachepot is a reproduction of a 1755 Chinese export jardiniere derived from a European silver form. It's one of my personal favorites.
