COCKATOOS-PAIR

Mottahedeh's colorful cockatoos were inspired by the works of Joachim Kaendler who studied live species of animals and birds the zoos and aviaries of his royal patron, Augustus III of Saxony and Poland. The originals date from 1736 to 1740. Birds are a very popular decorative element and can add a touch of whimsy to a formal room.
