This entire week, children across the country are getting excited for Halloween next Friday! What better way to celebrate the event than to make Halloween s'mores by using Halloween themed Peeps!? Children and adults alike will revel at the festivity of it, and these little morsels of deliciousness are no match for small gooey fingers! The delicate rust tones of our re-introduced Scroll dessert pattern are sure to keep the theme alive by adding a bit of sophistication to what was formally only seen as a campfire experience.
After Halloween has passed, and the leaves continue to change color, use the tea cups for hot apple cinnamon cider as autumn progresses into colder winter nights. Once the snow starts falling, add our matching Red Chinese Dinner Plate and Service Plate to turn this pattern into a dinner set - perfect for the holiday season!
Ingredients:
4 squares of cinnamon & sugar graham crackers
1 Ghost and 1 Pumpkin Peep
Chunks of chocolate
(If you're a peanut butter lover, like we are, a smudge of peanut butter is the perfect addition!)
Spread peanut butter (if you are using it) on two graham cracker squares and place them face up on a microwavable plate (Any Mottahedeh plate is fine as long as it does not have gold detailing).
Place a piece of chocolate on top of each square, and then lay the ghost and pumpkin on their respective graham cracker squares. Save the other two graham cracker squares for afterwards.
Microwave for 20 seconds - or until the marshmallows have plumped.
Immediately remove from the microwave and squish the remaining graham crackers on top of the peeps. Serve immediately!
Children love to watch the ghosts and pumpkins grow and expand in the microwave!
