It's FLASH BACK FRIDAY!! Today we'll dig up an old post from our blog's archives to share with you again! There's some good stuff in there. Today it's our Farahnaz Roasted Pumpkin Soup post from October 28, 2010. Check it out!

Another alternative and fun soup recipe for the Halloween night is this roasted pumpkin soup. Growing up my mother use to make this delicious dinner appetizer during the cold fall season when the leaves began to change color and the desire to stay bundled up with a warm soup in your belly seemed that much more appealing. It is that time of year again, and this is a recipe that can be used all winter long! Bust it out on Halloween night to get the masses geared up before hitting the streets in costume.

Here we have our little soup filled pumpkins/gourds on R. Haviland and C. Parlon Farahnaz Black bread & butter plates. The perfect size for the first course - the appetizer! (or a snack)

I'm a huge fan of the FoodNetwork and love their recipes! What I love most of all is being able to read people's comments and review. Here is a recipe I found that was similar to the one I used to make these little bad boys! CLICK
