So I re-organized my hutch the other day. I was worried about leaving plates standing without any support. What happens if someone bumps it!? Or they slide forward and break! I reinforced the legs and then set to work figuring out an easy way to stop my plates from sliding forward while standing up.
The Solution: Clear Vinyl Bumpers, which I picked up from Home Depot in the hook/frame isle. They're basically raised plastic stickers that you can stick to a clean surface, and it will act as a bumper for the plates so that they don't slide forward. Problem Solved! If you're looking for even more support, try using Gift Basket Glue Dots - you can pick them up at Michaels, and they're removable.
I also hooked this bad boy up with a new knob from Anthropologie. Totally loving my china collection now!
