My brother's name is Miles. We call him "Milio" (My-Lee-Oh). It came about when he was roughly 8 years old and decided as a service project he would bake little personalized pizzas as a fundraiser. In an attempt to sounds more "Italian" the 'io was added, along with a drawn-on black curly mustache.

...Well, thirteen years later, the name has stuck (at least within our family).

Here's an easy way to make place-holders around your Thanksgiving dinner table! Using gold spray paint, spray a pear for each place setting. You can get a pack of 6 or 10 gold coated natural leaves at Michaels. They're see-through, but add just the right amount of gold detailing. Using a gold paint pen write the name of the person who you wish to sit in that seat on a piece of white paper. Decorate it how-ever you'd like before gluing the leaf right on top. Once the glue has dried, simply cut out the shape of the leaf and use a sewing pin to pin it to the pear. Easy!

Buy a few extras and use them as finishing details on the table. Tuck the leaves under the fork, or simply place on the table cloth. It's a beautiful finishing touch.
