As with all design companies, the engine of the business is the offer of new product introductions. We update our product catalogue each year and we average 16 new pages a year. Our entire range is available for viewing here. Just Click on the pattern images and you will get a list of all items available in that style. Just click on the item number you want to see and a picture will pop up. You may want to see Motttahedeh products up-close and personal. Click on our "Where to Shop" and you will be able to look up stores by state. Over 300 stores also sell Mottahedeh product on the web. Even if they don't show the specific product that interests you on their website, a store can easily get an item for you if you e-mail them or call them. There is a renewed interest in Mottahedeh's finely wrought handicraft brass. Look at the many interesting pieces available. Each one is handmade in India.
Our newest pattern, Apples, Berries and Cherries, is casual faience dinnerware that can go in the microwave and dishwasher and it is taken from Minton English transferware from 1820. It is effusive leaves and abundant fruit on a background of periwinkle blue. It is both fresh looking and elegant, and can be used every day.
We have two new "antique" patterns with blue and with gold; Indigo Wave is an understated and slightly masculine treatment of cobalt blue with gold banding. Emerald Vine, a Winterthur Museum Reproduction a neo-classical leaf design in matt gold with raised green enamels. Both are rich looking and will make excellent bridal registry patterns.
We have expanded our crystal line to include clear crystal stemware in the same style as our colored stemware. Look for crystal at Duke of Gloucester and Tobacco Leaf , and Emerald Vine in the dinnerware section. Also, take a look at the beautiful emerald green stems in Emerald Vine. The cut of this crystal, individually hand-etched in Hungary by Varga Crystal, is a design made exclusively for us.
In a short time we will be offering hand embroidered table linens made exclusively for us in Madiera, Portugal. While these individually hand-sewn linens are expensive, there is no equal for workmanship, and raise the bar in the treatment of your tableto a level that matches the quality of the china. The styles are designed to coordinate with our dinnerware patterns. Each placemat and napkin is sewn entirely by hand by a single craftswoman.
